Golfing by the Baltic Sea

Ready to play mini golf, swingolf, or footgolf?

Pitch, putt, tee off: The landscape around Eckernförde is slightly hilly and so it’s an ideal spot for golfers. Here there are lots of golf courses where you can play in the wonderful Baltic Sea air. Would you prefer something more “informal”?  Then you can play swingolf at Gut Sophienhof. Or something more “compact”? The whole family will find something to enjoy at the mini golf course “Ostseegolf Eckernförde.”

Ostseegolf Eckernförde

THE mini golf experience for the whole family. In mid-July 2013, the mini golf course “Ostseegolf Eckernförde” opened right by the beach promenade in Eckernförde. Located between Preußerstraße and Eckernförde’s Kurstrand beach, the new adventure golf course adds to the landscape, with a completely redesigned environment. 18 holes await confident players – they can expect to find games, fun, and action here.

Beachside location with a view of the Baltic Sea

This is no ordinary mini golf course, this is a mini golf complex. The 18 holes are made of artificial grass and natural materials such as wood and stones. The greenery in the complex blends in well with the beach environment. Beach grasses, common sand sedge, coastal dune heathers, and dwarf everlast provide the appropriate environment.

The fairways feature short pile artificial grass. The courses also have differing grass lengths (roughs and semi-roughs) as well as hills, hollows, and sand bunkers. The modeled area will be more than enough for masses of mini golf fun! The location right by the beach is truly unique, with its view of the Baltic Sea.
